Dan Aldridge , President , Investor Relations Professional

Dan is currently the Managing Partner for Asbury Investor Relations (AIR). AIR is an innovative strategic communications firm, focused on helping small and mid cap public companies to maximize their efforts with the investment community. They offer a value-added alternative to traditional IR resource models with services ranging from advisory and special situation engagements to full and partial outsourcing of key investor relations functions. He was formerly the Senior Director of Investor Relations (IR) for Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), where was is responsible for managing the company’s relationships with the investment community, and creating and disseminating all financial communications, including the company’s strategy and vision. Prior to ICE, Dan led the Investor Relations function for CF Industries, INC., based in Chicago, IL. Prior to CF, Dan helped lead the IR department at The Home Depot and had leadership roles in their internal audit/consulting and FP&A functions for over seven years. Dan started his career at UPS where he had increasing levels of responsibility in the Internal audit, and FP&A departments, including M&A. Dan is a graduate of The University of Georgia Terry College of Business with a BA and Masters degrees in Accounting. Dan also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation. He is also the President for the National Investor Relations Institution (NIRI), having served since 2013.

Jeff Karcher , Vice President

Jeff Karcher is the Regional Head - Southeast for the New York Stock Exchange based in Atlanta, GA. Jeff joined ICE/NYSE in 2015 after spending almost 30 years working in the institutional equity research business in a variety of roles including sales, management, product development and research coordination at PaineWebber, Deutsche Bank, RBC and Knight Capital. His primary responsibilities are for the large listing client relationships in the Southeast ensuring company management’s understand and recognize the unique market model which embodies the NYSE.

Jeff is also a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s Strategic Growth Committee and the Board of Directors for FinTech Atlanta. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BBA in Finance. Originally a native of Cleveland, Ohio, he and his wife Nancy have six children and enjoys golf and the Georgia mountains.

James W. (Jimmy) Stewart , Sponsorships , Manager, Investor Relations, Southern Company

Jimmy Stewart is a Managing Director at Asbury Investor Relations. Asbury Investor Relations is an innovative strategic communications firm offering value-added services ranging from advisory and special situation engagements to full and partial outsourcing of key investor relations functions.

Jimmy retired from Southern Company after four decades of service. While at Southern Company he was responsible for maintaining proactive communications with the investment community and Wall Street analysts that follow Southern Company and the electric utility industry.

Responsibilities also included marketing to existing and potential institutional investors as well as individual investors. He was responsible for developing communications related to the Company’s strategies.

In addition to his role at Southern Company, Jimmy held several industry leadership positions including serving on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and as Chairman of the Edison Electric Institute’s Investor Relations Group.

Throughout his career at Southern Company, Jimmy held numerous positions at Georgia Power Company and Southern Company in Corporate Accounting, Finance, Corporate Planning, Financial Planning, Treasury, Responsibility Budgeting and Cash Management.

Before joining Southern Company, he was employed by Arthur Anderson and Habif, Arogeti and Wynne.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Georgia State University and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Mercer University.

Bill McCarthy , Membership

Bill McCarthy is Vice President-Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations for Neenah Paper, Inc., a global producer of premium and specialty papers. Bill started with Neenah Paper in early 2004, helping to prepare the company for its November spin-off from Kimberly-Clark and initial public stock and bond offerings. In addition to Investor Relations duties, Bill is responsible for strategic planning and business/financial analysis.

Prior to joining Neenah Paper, Bill worked for Kimberly-Clark Corporation in various financial roles. From 1995-2003, Bill was Finance Director for Kimberly-Clark’s Latin American Operations, with responsibility for all financial activities including analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury, and tax. During this time, he helped complete more than 25 acquisitions and/or joint ventures that resulted in Kimberly Clark’s leading position in this region. Bill also has worked as Financial Manager/Controller for one of the company’s large domestic consumer products mills and has held numerous other staff and business unit financial roles. Bill started in Kimberly-Clark in the Internal Audit department.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and also holds a Master of Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting, from California State University-Fullerton.

Michael Nelson , Treasurer

Michael Nelson is Vice President of Investor Relations for NCR Corporation. In this role he is responsible for designing, developing and executing a strategic investor relations message. He also serves as an advisor and strategic resource to the senior management team and Board of Directors. Prior to joining NCR in 2016, Michael was Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer for Internap.

Michael is an accomplished investor relations professional with experience on both the buy and sell sides of the investment management business.

He began his career as a fixed income trader and portfolio manager before spending ten years as a sell side analyst covering the data center and telecom services industries.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science in economics from Cornell University and his Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

Mark Chekanow , Communications , Director of Investor Relations for SWM International

Mark Chekanow, CFA, is the Director of Investor Relations for SWM International, a billion-dollar performance materials manufacturer. Mark joined SWM in 2013 to help communicate the strategy and progress of the newly announced strategic transformation and diversification initiative. Mark has also taken on various corporate development and finance responsibilities during this time, including acquisition diligence, execution, and integration, and capital markets transactions.

Prior to joining SWM, Mark worked at Duff & Phelps in the valuation advisory practice and was a sell-side analyst at Sidoti & Co. covering small caps for 5 years. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in the high yield research group, learning the building blocks of financial and fundamental analysis, writing research, and communicating with investors.

Mark received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and attended Emory University to earn his Master’s in Business Administration. Mark also completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Julie Stewart , At Large , Vice President of Investor Relations for Delta Air Lines (DAL)

Julie is the Vice President of Investor Relations for Delta Air Lines (DAL). She is responsible for the communication of Delta’s financial results and outlook to the investment community, as well as competitive analysis. Julie ranked as the Best Investor Relations Professional among airlines in the 2020 and 2021 Institutional Investor All-America Executive Team awards. Prior to Delta, Julie worked at United Airlines as Chief of Staff for the CEO and managing director of investor relations.

She began her career in public accounting at Ernst and Young before spending nearly a decade on the sell side at Credit Suisse covering the aerospace/defense and airline industries.

Julie received her Masters of Accounting and Bachelor of Business from the University of Alabama and is a member of The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business Board of Visitors. She resides in Atlanta with her husband and two daughters.
