Robert Borchert is Vice President, Investor Relations for MedAssets, Inc., and has more than 20 years of investor relations and corporate communications experience. He joined MedAssets in August 2007 as the Company was preparing for its initial public offering (IPO).

Prior to joining MedAssets, he was Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for Per-Se Technologies and NDCHealth (acquired by Per-Se in 2006). From 1999 to 2003, he held senior investor relations and corporate communications positions with CNET Networks and Ziff-Davis, two technology and internet media companies. During the first ten years of his career, Robert worked with a number of leading investor and public relations consulting firms in New York City.

Robert earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance, and has been an active member of NIRI since 1993. In 2002, he was named a finalist for "Best IR Officer and Best Overall Investor Relations" by Investor Relations Magazine for his work with CNET Networks in the months following the end of the internet bubble in 2001.
